The following are my general terms for commissioning art from me. They were updated Tuesday, October 30th, 2018,
and are the only valid terms. Any other older commission terms are invalid.
These commission terms will be summarized in your Paypal Invoice.
Please be aware that these terms will update, so even if you have commissioned me before, please give them another look.
You must be 18 years or older to commission me. I will not do business with minors (sorry.)
This website is the only way I take commissions, other than through DMs on Twitter at @FxSql. Please do not ask me for a commission if I am closed.
I will draw the following:
For fursonas, I will draw generally any kind, but specifically:
I will also draw these, but I have less experience:
I will draw these, but it may cost you more:
I will not draw these, so please do not ask:
I draw NSFW, but please ask me in advance prior to filling out my form. The less vanilla it is, the less likely it is I'll do it (sorry.)
All prices are subject to increase or decrease based on complexity of the characters involved. You will be made aware of any price changes.
Please consider that while I've drawn a lot of things, there are many more things I have not drawn yet.
I have the right to refuse a commission to anyone for any reason. Filling out my form does not obligate you to a commission.
If you only have a text ref and no images for your character, there will be an extra fee of $5 USD for an Avatar or Bust, and $10 for a Waist Up or Full Body.
You must have the license to use the characters that you wish for me to draw. I cannot draw anything for you unless you're absolutely sure that I'm legally able to.
The following is a summary of my commission process. Please read on for details.
Before filling out my form, be sure to have your references and commission idea ready. If you have any
questions, please ask me BEFORE filling out my form, thank you.
My commission form will ask everything that I need to know, including references, Paypal address, etc.
Once you fill out my form, I will contact you with any questions or concerns that I may have about your commission.
If you are approved for a commission, I will send you a PayPal invoice. At this time, I can only accept PayPay, and I will
not accept payment through any other means (Ko-Fi, sending it another way on PayPay - I only use Invoices.)
Once you fill out my form, you'll receive a Commission ID Number. Please write it down somewhere, so you can keep
track of your Commission in my Trello Queue.
Usually I will contact you within 24 hours to let you know that I have received your commission. If I don't, then I probably
didn't get it. Please message me directly if this is the case.
If you have any questions about your Commission, please contact me using the method I contacted you by originally.
I'm always happy to answer any question you may have.
When I have done the Sketch, I will send it to you for approval. Please let me know at this time if there
are any changes that need to be made (pose, hairstyle, etc) as it will be very difficult to change later and may incur an extra
When I have done the Lineart, I will send it to you for approval. Please let me know then if any changes need
to be made to the lineart, as it will be difficult later on.
When I have colored it, I will again send it to you for approval. I'll send another preview after it has been
shaded. Again, please let me know immediately if any changes need to be made.
To summarize, you'll get 4 previews minimum of your drawing if you commission a fully shaded artwork. Once I have moved on
to the next step, I cannot make changes. For example, if I have fully shaded the drawing, and it is at this time you wish
to change the hairstyle, I will have to charge you extra for the change, so please let me know immediately. I want
to make sure I do the artwork the way you want it to be.
Commissions will be done as I am able to. I work a full time job on top of doing commissions, so I can't be as fast
as some other people who do this fulltime.
Also, I may work on smaller commissions (such as icons) while working on bigger commissions. If you wish to know
the status of your commission, please check my Trello Queue, or ask me about it any time.
Once the commission is done, I will send you a Dropbox link with a downscaled PNG version of the artwork. An original
resolution (not downscaled) PNG is available upon request, but I cannot share source files. The Dropbox link will remain valid
for a long time, and will include any other commissions you've received from me.
If you've lost your commission, please ask me! I try to back up everything, and I keep all the art I do, so there's a 99.9% chance
I'll be able to get it to you again.
Commissions are arranged in the order that I receive payment, NOT the order by which I accepted them. Therefore, please
have your money ready for me as soon as I invoice you.
I will not start work on your artwork until you have paid me. I'll expect your payment within 2 days, or your commission
Please don't fill out the form "in advance" and then tell me you'll have the money next Tuesday. Your commission will be
You are responsible for your method of payment. Don't use your mom's card without permission!
For multiple people in one artwork: If you are going in part with other people to pay for the commission, you'll need to arrange the money privately. I will
only send one invoice to one client, so please send your money to that person so that they can pay for it.
I will confirm the final price with you prior to sending the invoice, and you'll be expected to pay that price. I don't haggle. If you don't like my commission prices, I can direct you to some friends who are cheaper, but please don't bother me about it.
PayPal asks for addresses whenever I invoice someone. It's not something I can turn off, so I specify that it is a digital good. No physical item will be sent to you, and I won't look at your name or address (I don't care.)
I don't care about foreign transaction fees or PayPal fees in general. As long as you're able to send me money on PayPal and I can legally accept it, I'll take it.
I don't take Cryptocurrencies. You also can't pay in "exposure" or anything like that. I want real money only.
If your commission is cancelled for one of the above reasons, you will not be considered for future commissions. You have been
I prefer to share all my drawings, so if you wish yours to remain private, I will have to charge you $20 USD more. Please
let me know in advance, thank you.
If you have some sort of discount, for instance through Patreon or through promotions, partner icons, etc, please
make sure your discount is on the invoice prior to paying it.
My website provides estimates in other currencies for convenience, but the USD price will always be the final price.
You are covered under PayPal's Purchase Protection for 180 days. However, in the extraordinary circumstance I haven't started your
commission after 180 days, and you wish for a refund, I will still refund you. However, please contact me directly before requesting
a refund through PayPal.
You are entitled for a refund in its entirety prior to me doing the sketch for the drawing. After that, you are only
eligible for a partial refund depending on how much work I've done on the artwork. For example, if you commission a Full
Color Full Body artwork, and I've done the lineart, and you wish for a refund at that point, you will only get 50% of your
money back, as I have done the work halfway. You also forfeit your ownership of the artwork. You will NOT have permission
to use the artwork in any form.
You are not eligible for a refund after the work has been finished, even if you just end up not liking the result.
An "Avatar" is any closeup on the characters face, which may or may not include hands/upper body etc. A "Bust" is from the chest up.
A "Waist-Up" is from the waist/thighs upwards. A "Full Body" shows the entire body.
Regarding Collaborative Commissions, if you wish for me to lineart or otherwise color or shade someone else's artwork,
or you wish to have my artwork finished by someone else, or you wish for me to collab with someone (For instance, I draw the characters
and they draw the background) Please let me know in advance. I can't work with everyone's art simply because of my own style
The completed commission will be released to you under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial
(CC BY-NC) License. This means that you are allowed to share and edit the artwork, but you must credit
me in some way. You are also not permitted to use it for commercial purposes. I still retain rights over
the artwork, and can display it in portfolios and on websites for example.
At this time, I do not take commercial commissions. Please do not ask me for them.
